Job Overview:
As a Server, you will be the face of the restaurant and/or outlet, responsible for providing attentive and efficient service to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is nothing short of excellent. You will serve food and beverages, answer questions about the menu, and maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival.
Present menus, answer questions about menu items, and make recommendations.
Take accurate food and beverage orders, utilizing our point-of-sale (POS) system.
Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently, adhering to our service standards.
Anticipate guest needs and proactively address any concerns or requests.
Maintain a thorough knowledge of our menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and potential allergens.
Process guest payments accurately and efficiently.
Prepare tables for service, ensuring they are clean, organized, and properly set.
Clear and reset tables promptly after guests depart.
Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned.
Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
Work collaboratively with other team members, including kitchen staff and bartenders, to ensure smooth and efficient service.
Handle guest complaints with grace and professionalism, escalating issues to management when necessary.
Stay updated on daily specials, menu changes, and restaurant promotions.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Previous experience as a server in a fast-paced, fine-dining environment preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong customer service orientation with a genuine desire to please guests.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a positive attitude.
Basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Must be able to lift and carry trays up to 35lbs.
