Job Overview: This position will be responsible for assisting the bartenders in providing quality service to all guests. Supporting the management team and all other team members as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Greets all guests with enthusiasm and friendliness.
Replenish bar supplies (i.e., straws, napkins, glassware, ice bins, etc.) to ensure bartenders are prepared for service.
Cleans and maintains bar areas, before, during and after service.
Stock bars with alcoholic beverages including liquor, wine, beer, drink mixes and non-alcoholic beverages including soda, juices, and carbon dioxide.
Stock liquor room with all supplies including liquor, beer, wine, dry goods, soda, etc.
Assist in prepping garnishes, purees, syrups, etc. for daily operation.
Maintain cleanliness of liquor rooms, beer coolers and bars including sweeping, mopping, removing trash
Assist with inventory.
Polish glassware.
Reports to work as scheduled, in uniform, well groomed, and ready to be in position.
Always maintains a professional appearance.
Follow safety and sanitation rules and practices in accordance with health code standards.
Maintains full knowledge of menu, products and operating procedures.
Learn and maintain knowledge of all floorplans and table numbers.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager and/or Captain.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
Must be able to work flexible shifts and schedules, including weekends and holidays as required.
Must be able to demonstrate competency as outlined in the training schedule.
Must be hospitable, respectful towards colleagues and guests.
Excellent people skills and outgoing personality.
Basic English speaking and written communication skills.
Ability to take direction, understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
Ability to work in a team environment and must be a team player.
Ability to work calmly, quickly and effectively under pressure.
Detail oriented.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects with hands.
Must be able to work on your feet for at least 8 hours.
Fast paced movements are required in all areas of the restaurant and property.
Must be able to move, pull, carry or lift up to 45 pounds.
Occasionally kneel, bend, crouch and climb as required.
