Job Overview: This position will be responsible for assisting the bartenders in providing quality service to all guests. Supporting the management team and all other team members as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greets all guests with enthusiasm and friendliness.

  • Replenish bar supplies (i.e., straws, napkins, glassware, ice bins, etc.) to ensure bartenders are prepared for service.

  • Cleans and maintains bar areas, before, during and after service.

  • Stock bars with alcoholic beverages including liquor, wine, beer, drink mixes and non-alcoholic beverages including soda, juices, and carbon dioxide. 

  • Stock liquor room with all supplies including liquor, beer, wine, dry goods, soda, etc.

  • Assist in prepping garnishes, purees, syrups, etc. for daily operation.

  • Maintain cleanliness of liquor rooms, beer coolers and bars including sweeping, mopping, removing trash

  • Assist with inventory.

  • Polish glassware.

  • Reports to work as scheduled, in uniform, well groomed, and ready to be in position. 

  • Always maintains a professional appearance.

  • Follow safety and sanitation rules and practices in accordance with health code standards.

  • Maintains full knowledge of menu, products and operating procedures.

  • Learn and maintain knowledge of all floorplans and table numbers.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager and/or Captain.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

  • Must be able to work flexible shifts and schedules, including weekends and holidays as required.

  • Must be able to demonstrate competency as outlined in the training schedule.

  • Must be hospitable, respectful towards colleagues and guests.

  • Excellent people skills and outgoing personality.

  • Basic English speaking and written communication skills.

  • Ability to take direction, understand and follow written and verbal instructions.

  • Ability to work in a team environment and must be a team player.

  • Ability to work calmly, quickly and effectively under pressure.

  • Detail oriented.

  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects with hands.

  • Must be able to work on your feet for at least 8 hours.

  • Fast paced movements are required in all areas of the restaurant and property.

  • Must be able to move, pull, carry or lift up to 45 pounds.

  • Occasionally kneel, bend, crouch and climb as required.
